30th June

Petra writes that the first season of Slings & Arrows will be shown on Swiss TV (channel SF1) every Thursday starting on 5th July 2007. SF1 is also available to some German and Austrian fans. Time: 22:50 to 23:45 on Thursday nights and repeated at 14:50 the next day. Thanks Petra!

14th June

Passchendaele is having a casting call for Soldiers. The details are as follows:

Saturday 16 June 10am - 5pm

Please bring a snapshot if possible.

This first call they are asking for soldiers only, aged 16-26, and a few in the 40 year range. There will be more casting calls to come!

12th June

Paul recently took part in the concert to mark the opening of the Michael Lee-Chin "Crystal" addition to the Royal Ontario Museum. You can read a bystander's account here, and there are photos here and here. (Many thanks to Wendy for the links.) Paul was hobbling around with a walking stick because he had sprained his ankle.

The Movie Network and Movie Central have announced the start of principal photography on Whizbang Films' gripping series ZOS: Zone of Separation, starring Colm Meaney, Lolita Davidovich, Michelle Nolden, Rick Roberts, Enrico Colantoni and Allan Hawco, and executive produced by Paul Gross, Frank Siracusa, Mario Azzopardi and Malcolm MacRury. Despite an earlier report that the DVD release of Slings & Arrows 3 had been delayed, and are now again showing the release date as 3rd July 2007. [Update - amazon orders have been delivered.]

5th June

Stop press for UK viewers! Sky Arts is showing a repeat run of Slings and Arrows series 3 from tonight at 11 pm. Thanks to Rosy for the news.

26th May

Passchendaele will finally start filming on 13th August! Thanks to Whizbang Films for the welcome news, and to Felicity for this link to ACTRA Calgary.

Whizbang Films are also about to start filming ZOS (Zone Of Separation), for which Paul will be one of the executive producers.

20th May

Kyra has written to let us know that she's heard from Bob Gross (Paul's dad) that the Slings & Arrows season 3 DVD release has been postponed - possibly until January 2008. [See 12th June update above.]

9th May

Laura in the UK reports that the due South pilot on DVD is on sale in Asda for only £2. Bargain! (Or you can buy the complete series boxset here!)

29th March

The UK's Hallmark Channel have scheduled a screening of H2O on 22nd and 23rd May - thanks to Claire for letting us know! We can't find this in the Hallmark UK listings - 6th May.

27th March

Interest is obviously running high at the moment in "Trojan Horse" (the sequel to H2O) and "Passchendaele" so Paul has very kindly emailed the answers to some burning questions from his fans — read all the latest here!

16th March

You can now find a teaser trailer, made in 2006, for "Passchendaele" on the Whizbang Films website — after the site intro is over, click on "Projects" at the top of the page. (You will need Flash to see the banner containing the link.) If you hunt around the site, you will also find a new link to a past trailer for H2O.

Thank you to Felicity for sending along a link to this document from the Toronto Film and Television Office, which shows that "ZOS", a Whizbang production about Canadian peacekeepers, is now filming.

The 2006 documentary "Ride Forever" is now on YouTube. It features interviews with Paul Gross, David Marciano, Callum Keith Rennie, Gordon Pinsent and other cast and crew members, and was included only with the Region 2 DVD box set of Due South. Thank you to Carole for passing along the news!

The San Francisco Chronicle has a glowing review of Slings & Arrows - Season 3 starts in the US on Sunday at 8 pm on the Sundance Channel.

1st February

At last the news US fans have been waiting for - Slings & Arrows Season 3 starts on the Sundance Channel on the 18th February at 8pm, preceded by a showing of Season 2. Many thanks to Nancy for letting us know!

24th January

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, starring Richard Crenna and Paul Gross, is scheduled for 1 February at 3.35 pm on the UK's Channel 5. Thanks to Carole for the news.
